Am I signing over exclusive rights to my film?
No. You grant a non-exclusive digital distribution license for the specific cut you upload. You retain 100% of the underlying intellectual property, including checkpoints, LoRAs, prompt libraries, project files and final renders. You are free to post the same film to YouTube, submit it to festivals, or sign a separate deal elsewhere with no notice to us, and you can terminate the license with 30 days written notice at any time.
How are payouts structured and routed?
Stripe Connect routes your share of every screening to your connected account at the moment of sale, and pays it out to your bank weekly. The standard split is 70 / 30 in favor of the creator; launch-cohort directors keep 85%. Forever. The platform fee covers streaming, storage and card processing. There is no minimum payout threshold and no recoupment against marketing spend. Finish payout setup with Stripe before your first paid title goes live.
Can my work be used to train AI models?
It is contractually prohibited. The distribution agreement bars us and any partner from using your uploads for model training, indexing, or derivative works. This is a binding term you can enforce, not a policy page we can silently revise.
What happens to my master file after upload?
Your master uploads straight from your browser to our video partner and is encoded once for streaming at up to 4K. Playback of the full film is authorized per session with short-lived signed tokens, issued only to buyers. No master is ever served from public storage or accessible by direct URL.
Do I own the relationship with my fans?
Your page at /@your-handle and every title link are yours to share anywhere. Fans who follow you there hear about your next release. You keep 100% of your IP and can take your films elsewhere at any time.
What are the curation standards for the launch roster?
The roster is human-reviewed, not filtered by a classifier. We look for high-production visual consistency, a coherent authorial voice, and a finished cut. We do look for a particular toolchain or moderate your artistic vision. Charter directors accepted in this cohort receive priority placement and a locked-in revenue share preference when the subscription tier launches, if they choose to opt-in.
